Heh...what a topic, the hottest news regarding an artiste this year, well, rumours has been going around for ages and finally, the veil has been lifted, she is definitely going to marry the guy, Dato K.
A lot of negative comments have been going around about her marriage to this old bugger and i don't blame them much. Some have said she is a gold digger, some say she is a husband stealer, some say she uses black magic to maintain the way she looks and to get the guy and God knows what else! the stuff that is going around about this marriage is just crazy ok. People are comparing this to posh spice and beckham, jolie and brat pitt...wedding of the year kinda thingy.
well, i do hope our paparazi won't be an crazy as the french paparazi who chased Lady Di. We certainly dun want to see headlines saying that siti got killed whilst being chased by the local paparazi...that wouldn't be good now would it.
Anyways, my personal opinion, i dun think she has much choice, its not to say that she is pregnant or she lost her virginity to the guy or anything of the sort, its just because of who she is. She is in her late twenties, hugely successful, a well known public figure and artiste, has the support of the malaysian government in anything she does, we all know she has made millions from singing and doing advertising and promoting, is basically the darling of every mak cik, pak cik, factory worker, students from the local universities and up and coming wannabe artiste and basically every tom dick and harry and mary jane and cindy who follows fervently the local entertainment scene. She is an icon so to speak.
So which guy from her age group, late twenties early thirties, has the balls to actually approach her and ask her for marriage? i think no malay guy has the guts to go up to her and ask her for marriage, they are too intimidated by her, too scared of her popularity and her influence, her star status. Anak jantan mana yang berani! C'mon, lets face it, not many malay guys her age group actually comes close to her social or financial status. I can name a few, like KJ and Fazli who could match her, but KJ is too involved in politics and maya karin i think whilst fazli, God knows what he is doing.
Anyways, if someone did ask her hand for marriage, would she accept it in the first place, would her family accept it? I'm sure she and her family will want to determine whether the guy can accept her for who she is, giving her support from behind, not steal her thunder and at the very least, able to accept that she is a popular figure and that she will not be able to actually do her wifely duties as expected. the guy on the other hand will have to learn to accept that she will always be busy with her work, will never be around the house whenever he wants her, that he will never have her just for himself and he will never again lead the lifestyle that he has grown accustomed to. its a huge burden that the guy will have to accept.
I'm sure that siti would prefer to marry someone who is younger, better looking and more acceptable to the public, i'm sure she does not want to court any controversy, afterall, she has been clean all this while, which is something by itself!

I'm not saying its impossible, everything is possible. I'm just saying for her its a bit difficult cause peoole her age group maybe tak berani to approach her
am not saying u are wrong dear... im just adding another possibility on 'how this happened'
dat my fren, is called JODOH..tho its interesting to analyse how and why it happened, i think what really matter is doing ur best to keep it happy till u die...bcoz, wedding of the year or not, if takde jodoh, takde jugak. yes, it is the harsh reality of marriage.
